Glad you're back safe and sound. I experienced a similar nightmare when I came to Texas to be with family in late November. The TSA lines were impossibly long and I actually missed two flights just getting though the lines. I didn't arrive until midnight, being processed through New Orleans, Dallas and finally Midland where my family lives. I was so exhausted and came down with a terrible cold as soon as I arrived. My brother was so concerned about covid so I had a test the next day. All was fine but I have never seen so much chaos and crowds ever in my life. It will take some time for everything to find it's normal and for that I am oh so ready!
Yes, Omicron has thrown a bit of a curve ball into things. You need stamina to travel now - and extra funds for all the testing and fees. not to mention, the cost of getting stuck somewhere if you test positive.
Thank you, XX's
Love reading all your stories Lee, Merry Christmas!

Thank you for the honest view. The “glamour” of travel, the joy of the destination. Good to know it’s still possible.
I'm going...& taking a twitcher's seat!
How fortunate to have travelled freely pre covid. Just love going OS with you Lee..Stay safe and have a peaceful, joyful Christmas..Maggie
A good read - thanks! Now that international travel has opened up I’m preparing to go back and forth to LA - all feedback is good.
Sounds arduous, but for the pain, Paris pleasure was the reward.
So interesting Lee. Had a chuckle about (mainly) men wearing their masks under the nose...especially older men..so true
I don't understand it - do you? Maybe a sense of entitlement for some? But some men seem completely befuddled by masks.
Very enjoyable, love reading. I am still debating international travel.

Thanks Anabel. Have a stress-free Christmas break.
Welcome home! So pleased you did it, and you made it.
I'm so glad I did, but I feel I've run a marathon.
Marvelous report Lee.
Thanks Leigh.
Terrific to see you! Come again !!
You can count on it. xxxx
That worried me too! There's absolutely no consideration for twitchy bladders anywhere!
